The stealing that goes on and the drugs in this place is incredible and staff ( if present ) lets it go on. This place is not Christian at all. I'm glad he is out after 90 days.

This place is amazing. About 7 years ago my father went into the Heartland Men's Program and it totally turned his life around. Whether you are going there for employment, a new home, rehab, a friendly neighborhood, to see the dairy farm, or just to go to church and see what's it's all about it is definitely worth the journey. Charles Sharpe, the founder of Heartland is the kindest and most touching man you will ever hear speak.

Do not go here or send your loves ones there. This place is nothing but a money grab. My nephew was just kicked out four days ago for reportedly drugs in his system but his drug test came back clean. He worked 120 hrs a week, only made $7:65 hr with no overtime pay. They say they offer counseling, but that is a lie also, the counselors are addicts themselves. When family questioned the group leader(s) you could here them discussing what to say before answering. They also made him pay over $300.00 for transportation to a court hearing that was dropped and they were notified five days prior that it was dismissed. All of the letters that he needed for court always had a different start date for him, so they must just make stuff up.

All around, I hope to visit this place again soon. I have fond memories there.

I can't wait to see what happens when his lawyer starts asking questions and proof of records.

I went here many years ago...I was 14years old I am now 29years old...it was the most horrible place I've ever been to...I don't know if y'all run this place the way y'all did back then, but how dare you? This place, for punishment, paddled my butt until it was black and blue and purple...made me eat bread with butter on it and hominy only for lunch and dinner...I was on this thing called "talk restriction" and wasn't aloud to speak to anyone or I would get paddled again...it was my 15th birthday and I wasn't able to talk to anyone and tell them it was my birthday...if my ass wasn't already black and blue....I would have talk...but I was afraid...and out of all people who gave me the paddling...was the man preacher! This place is corrupt and needs to be put out of business... that's not all of what went on here...this is just a lil taste of my experience bye

What am I to recover from in this program, addiction abuse religion....there is nothing offered. Once again disappointed. All about church and state, keep climbing to the top of the garbage heap for my scrap,

I believe. That my partner is like 98% happier and healthier just in the past 4 weeks he has been there!! That makes my boys and I sssssooooo. Much happier and at ease!! Thanx Heartland or accepting those in need of a frienddirection guidance and love!!!
